Welcome to my little online studio! I am Lavinia Valeriana, an independent and self-trained artist/artisan and Designer. I sell (from home) works heavily influenced by my love of olden times, Bohemian quirks, Gothic imagination and the cultures and designs of my mixed heritage and upbringing. I don't aim for a particular style or choose to work in one medium. I protest being tied down by labels. I prefer to wander down the whimsical path where fancy takes me. I adopt melodrama and find amusement in the garishness of "kitsch" sentimentality. I like eye-catching objects that 'scream out' enough to make me want to touch them. 

When I'm not here, I am away writing bardic verses or composing music. I confess to being a bit of a mystery because of my social media timidity. I'm happy to invent and share with all and embrace all who do me. Anyways, let's get further acquainted. I'd be delighted, and you'll learn more about me as we go via my work and my newsletter.
